My fellow entrepreneur,

Thanks for your attention. But you have a business to run, and your time is valuable. So let's not waste it. Please read the following points. Do they describe your marketing situation? And your challenges?

You don't have the big guys' advertising budget.
So your consumer communications are very limited.
But your communications must produce.
And they must be cost effective.

Do you know what makes market communications produce? Effectively? Efficiently? It's no secret. And it's not rocket science. It's this: Comprehensive communication. Every place that people see your name, they should see your unique selling message. Your whole message. Clear. Concise. Complete.

Every communication must give your customers the necessary data. Your name, product, price, location. But more is needed: A compelling reason to do business with you, rather than your competition.

Communications should also make your customers feel good about doing business with you. Touch them with your honesty and integrity. Encourage them with the feeling that you deserve their trust.....and their business.
These aren't trade secrets I'm sharing. Ad agency people know these concepts. So do corporate executives, who hire ad agencies. But you aren't a big company, and can't afford an agency. So what? You still compete for the minds and hearts of customers. Every day.

What can you do? The answer's as clear as black and white. Make very sure that all your marketing materials are effective, and productive.

I'm Robert Block. I believe in small business. And support it, avidly. Why? It's the American dream's backbone. And I want to see it continue. For our children. Our children's children. And theirs.
You've put everything into your business, its growth matters. But growth requires new customers. So your message must be communicated.

Want to talk? We'll discuss your business, and define your unique selling message. We'll review your current marketing materials. Ads, cards, flyers, web site, etc. All of it. We'll analyze your competition. And we'll profile your customer. Thoroughly. Confidentially.

What next? We'll decide what's best and realistic for your business. Then I'll give you a proposal and quotation, in writing, for your review and agreement.

If you give me the go-ahead, I'll furnish your draft(s), by the agreed date. If revisions are needed, they'll be made. At no additional charge.

Will my work meet your needs and requirements? It's guaranteed. In writing. If you aren't completely satisfied, don't use it, and don't pay. Period. Relationships are business.

Worried about costs? I have no suites or secretaries, to impress corporate clients. I work alone, from a home office. And answer my own phone. My expenses are minimal, so clients pay only for my time. Not eye candy.
You might be wondering whether I write copy that really sells. You're reading a sample now. You can also click on "testimonials" to see what my clients say. Then, decide for yourself.

Have questions? Want more information? Or maybe you'd like to discuss working together, to grow your business. Please feel free to contact me. By e-mail, fax, phone, or click "get started" and use the on-line questionnaire. I'ts your choice. And your business. May it grow and prosper.

Again, thanks for your valuable time,
Robert Block
P.S. Never worked with a copywriter? No problem. I welcome the opportunity to help small businesses grow and thrive.

Business philosophy

The foundation of Robert Block Wordcraft and Copywriting is the applied understanding that business is built on relationships. This common sense ethic permeates all business practices. From initial contact and proposal, through post-invoice follow up, client satisfaction remains the primary focus. In every sense, relationships are my business.

In professional practice, and personal belief, I support the entrepreneurial spirit of small business. And the people who take on the challenge. These are the origins, and future, of the American dream.

Many of us, in business today, have shared this advice with aspiring entrepreneurs. "Build your business on what you know and love." It's great advice. As I'm here to tell you. I love what I do for a living. I'm living the dream. And that's your assurance of complete dedication to my clients' satisfaction. It's a matter of personal pride. As your business is for you.

Everyone in business knows that satisfaction is also measured in dollars. The dollars that go into your pocket, the dollars that stay in your pocket. To earn that measure of satisfaction, we all apply the same basic business principles. Keep our costs down, and offer our customers value. For their hard earned dollars.

Because my passion is helping small business grow and prosper, I practice the above principle. To the max. By working at home, alone. All documents are created and printed on my own PC. No rent, no employees, no outsourcing. So clients pay only for my time. At reasonable, affordable rates. For small businesses, and individuals.

Confidentiality

Your business is your business. And I take your confidence very seriously. As evidence, please note that you see no "client list", anywhere. I consider this my "discretionary responsibility". And it's the right policy for today's ruthlessly competitive world.

To write effective copy for you, that sells your product or service, I'll need to know and understand it. Thoroughly. And your competition. That's a reasonable working definition of "full confidence". That confidence must be respected. And it will be.

My policy is to never discuss clients, or their businesses. With anyone. Period. For your protection. Thanks for your understanding and appreciation.

Guarantee

Simply stated: If you aren't happy with the copy I produce for you, don't accept it, and don't pay.

Along with the initial draft(s), clients will receive the invoice, including an approval/rejection form. If the draft is approved, work will proceed, and necessary revisions will be made, at no additional charge. However, if the work's not satisfactory, simply reject and return it.

If you find this unusual, in today's "buyer beware" environment, I'll gladly explain. Referrals, from satisfied clients, provide a large segment of my business. As you see, under confidentiality, I'll never discuss your business with anyone. But, I'd greatly appreciate your talking about my business.
100% of my clients are satisfied. This guarantee is my insurance policy.
